Flatbed semi trailers have large transport capacity and high efficiency, and are currently the main means of transportation for logistics and cargo transportation.
Although the wheelbase and other parameters of the vehicle have been corrected before leaving the factory, many vehicles have experienced abnormal tire wear to varying degrees after driving for a period of time.
If your semi trailer also has a similar situation, you can check the following instructions and make adjustments.
1. Abnormal wear of Flatbed semi trailer tires:

1. Abnormal tire wear caused by increased axle wheelbase deviation: When the Flatbed semi trailer is driving, the rotation speed of the tires at both ends of the axle is the same. If the wheelbase changes, the lateral sliding friction of the tires at both ends increases, and the tires roll and slide, causing abnormal tire wear. Before adjusting the wheelbase of the semi trailer, you should first find out the reason for the change in the vehicle wheelbase, and then adjust it after it is handled.
2. According to the requirements of the fault analysis part in the manual
Repair various parts and components that may cause abnormal tire wear, such as axles, tie rods, etc. In addition, the tires should be maintained and replaced in time.
2. Analysis of vehicle slanting phenomenon:
1. Vehicle slanting is mainly caused by the unequal distances from the center of the traction pin to the corresponding points on both sides of the first axle (the three points are not an isosceles triangle). If the deviation is out of tolerance, it may cause abnormal tire wear (zigzag phenomenon).
2. Inspection and adjustment method
1) Park the vehicle on a horizontal road without braking.
2) Take a point from the inner surface of the front side of the inner wheel hub of the front axle, and take a point on each side, with symmetrical positions.
3) Take the center of the traction pin as the reference, measure the distance to the above two points, and require 3mm of L1-L2i. If the deviation is out of tolerance, adjust the front axle live tie rod until the deviation requirements are met.
4) Measure the corresponding points of the front and rear axle hubs to check the measured values, and the old 181-821 is required to be 2mm. If the deviation is out of tolerance, adjust the rear axle live tie rod to make the front and rear axles parallel until the deviation meets the requirements.
5) Tighten the fastening bolts on the front and rear live tie rods.
6) After adjustment, drive about one kilometer without braking and stop at the same place to check the above dimensions. If there is no change, the adjustment is successful.
7) During the adjustment process, the pull rod should be in a working state, that is, when the pull rod is turned, the car bearing moves, and the pull rod adjustment function is normal.
